The stunning Edwardian building Albany House, in Central London, is a high specification refurbishment of 104 individual apartments, deigned to provide the very best in London living.
As part of the developement, the roof garden at Albany house was refurbished to make the most of the flat roof and fire escape and provide a communal outside space for the luxury apartments.
1,200 linear metres of Marley Eternit Antislip Plus® decking was supplied along with the timber for the deck joists. All timber was treated to FRT Class 0, required to conform to the building regulations ‘Part B’ as the deck forms part of the fire escape.
Marley Eternit recommends the use of Antislip Plus® inserts for all decks where there is public access, or a high level of pedestrian traffic to provide users with a safe, slip resistant surface in all weathers. The castellated boards for Albany house were supplied with 2 anti-slip inserts for superior slip resistance.
Marley Eternit timber decking provides complete peace of mind with a 25 year guarantee against rot and decay. Technical support is provided by Marley Eternit, from specification with the client or architect, to advice for the contractor on correct installation.
